जम्मू कश्मीर के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री और नेशनल कॉन्फ्रेंस के संरक्षक डॉ फारूक अब्दुल्ला पर फायरिंग हुई. फायरिंग में वो बाल-बाल बच गए. फारूक अब्दुल्ला बुधवार (11 मार्च) को जम्मू के ग्रेटर कैलाश इलाके में एक वकील की शादी में शरीक होने गए थे. गोली चलाने वाले आरोपी की पहचान कमल सिंह जामवाल के रूप में हुई है, जिसे सुरक्षाकर्मियों ने काबू कर हिरासत में ले लिया है और पुलिस ने मामले की जांच शुरू कर दी है. वहीं गिरफ्तारी के बाद आरोपी ने बताया कि वह 20 साल से इस हमले की योजना बना रहा था.

The accused who opened fire has been identified as Kamal Singh Jamwal, who has been captured by the security personnel and taken into custody and the police have started an investigation into the case. After the arrest, the accused said that he had been planning this attack for 20 years.
